Iain Galloway – Managing Director

Owner and Managing Director, Iain has more than 20 years experience in the IT sector as a Systems Analyst, Programmer and Research Manager, focussing in the public services and healthcare industries.
Iain has an MSc in Advanced Computer Science and System Design, and is a Chartered Member of the British Computer Society. He is also a fully qualified PRINCE2 practitioner. Ever the strategist, Iain is a senior county chess player and has represented England at U21 level.

Stephen Morris – Technical Consultant

Stephen is responsible for Research and Development and is the Technical Support lead at IDC. His previous experience include several years with IBM, performing research into new technologies, and web server and web application development. Stephen has worked with a host of top-tier clients, including KPMG, Cap Gemini and Sainsbury’s.
As a fluent French speaker, Stephen has experience of training International users in IT systems and applications.
Stephen is a very talented brass band conductor, and has even appeared on the BBC!

Mark Simpson – Technical Consultant

Mark specialises in software design and development at IDC.
Mark embarked upon his IT career in his 30s after graduating as a mature student with a 1st class honours degree in Business Information Technology at Coventry University. Prior to this, he spent 14 years working as a HNC qualified mechanical engineer within the Aerospace, Automotive & Defence sectors, specialising in Quality Assurance.
Mark has more than 15 years of experience in the IT sector, specialising in Microsoft technologies including SQL Server, C#, Visual Basic, ASP.NET & JavaScript. He has extensive experience of working with XML based technologies. Mark has worked in the automotive, educational, financial and healthcare sectors.

Philip Calcutt – Strategic Consultant

Philip has extensive experience of managing public / private partnership projects, and implementing marketing plans in professional services, business to business, destination marketing and developing European funding programmes.
Philip previously worked for Granada Group plc as Communications Manager. He has an MBA from Warwick University and is a member of the RSA and Chartered Institute of Marketing. He was a member of Advantage West Midlands Professional Services Group, Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham‘s Centre for Urban & Regional Studies and a Board Member of Sport England West Midlands.
